If that wasn't enough, Dolphin also welcomed support for a wealth of mods through support for Riivolution. The fact that the PlayStation 2's floating point behaviors mattered to us for this Progress Report should tell you the kinds of things we were up against when writing up the changes. This Progress Report also contains collaboration with the PCSX2 development team as they helped us understand some of the behaviors of Floating Point Math on the PlayStation 2. Trying to even begin to rectify the problems with this approach and explain the reasoning behind why it sort of wasn't emulated go very, very deep. Dolphin's approach to emulating this bit of the hardware has been to effectively ignore it exists. The first rabbit hole showcases TMEM, the GameCube and Wii's texture cache. That line doesn't exactly work when it's midway through the month, huh? This Progress Report ended up being a very technically challenging report to write with several huge rabbit holes that go through the history of Dolphin and the games themselves. I also find the Bluetooth controller introduces lag in emulation that isn’t as noticeable with Geforce Now, so I don’t really use it much. It's the beginning of the month and time for another Dolphin Progress Report!. Can support damn near any console including Dolphin. It’s popular for those that do the work and want to transfer their physical library to digital. Basically can plug an external HDD or mem card in with dumps of your Blu ray or dvds to watch. Can subscribe for access to a large library of games beyond ownership too. It works exceptionally well, I’ve tested with Destiny 2 and Sonic Racing, and even Control. GeForce Now scans Steam/EGS library and any owned game that is compatible, allows you to stream free from Nvidia servers over Shield. Some TVs don’t handle upscaling well, so this is a welcome feature to clean up the image.

Basically takes all sub-native signals like SD or 1080p and uses AI to enhance and smooth out the image to look much more crisp and clean. Newest models support HDR/4K for most everything.

Snappy android interface and damn near every major content app is on here. Ultimately it’s a streaming box that offers a lot of cool features that make it stand out. I too wasn’t sure I needed one until checking a bunch out myself. Plenty of Youtube videos that dissect the device and it’s features. Shit probably sux without a good internet connection. TL DR only buy this for $150 if you love emulation. Can anyone confirm though if it does AI Enhanced on Games? Can't tell the difference for games. Looks like I may just buy that LG CX and I'm about set for gaming until the next release of this wonderful machine. And then the box has Streaming support if you have a high end Nvidia card on your PC or Steamlink (but most Android TV's already have that). It's just lacking "every game on server" support at the moment. I swear GeForce Now if it gets these features will have me ditch PC's and Consoles in general especially if streaming is this good now (plus Sony & MS are on board Steam now).

The only thing missing is DSR/DLSS 2.0 and Mod support cause 1080p sucks. GeForce Now with a wired connection is incredible.

I can't believe how good the AI Enhanced feature is for TV and it's literally the best Android Emulation Box out of the gate with a Micro SD slot and External Hard Drive Support. It's literally the stuff of dreams, but only because I have a Google Fiber Gig Connection. Warning* Post may contain Excitement Hyperbole
